Mille-feuille cake with honey and vanilla cream

Here is a homemade recipe that honors our natural Ilanga Nature honey and vanilla.

A moist, fragrant, easy-to-prepare cake… that fills the entire kitchen with its aroma. 🍰

Preparation :

  1. Melt in a double boiler: butter, sugar and honey until dissolved. Mix, let cool.
  2. Add the eggs, then the flour and yeast. Form a dough, let rest 30 min in the cold.
  3. Divide the dough into 7-8 parts, roll them out and cut out rounds. Cook each round 5 minutes at 200 °C. Also cook the scraps and crumble them.
  4. Prepare the cream: mix thick cream and sugar (add vanilla sugar if desired). And add vanilla extract
  5. To assemble the cake: alternate a round of dough and a layer of cream until the last.
  6. Cover the cake with cream and sprinkle with crumbs.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours so that the cream penetrates the dough well.
